Who we are

Established in 1983 The MSA Group provides specialist technical input into multinational projects on five continents covering all mineral commodities. MSA has grown to have a staff complement of over 170 people, a third of whom are graduate specialists in the minerals industry. MSA is Africa’s largest consulting and contracting company in the minerals sector.

What we do

Based in South Africa with offices in Johannesburg, London, Vancouver and Gaborone (Botswana) MSA conducts consulting and contracting services on behalf of over 50 international clients throughout Africa and several locations elsewhere in the world. Our Clients include the largest multi national mining Companies and Canadian, Australian and South African listed juniors.

The MSA Group of companies servicing the resource industry include: MSA Geoservices, MSA Consulting, MSA Environmental, MSA Medical, MSA Diamond Laboratories and MSA Data Management & GIS.

Getting the balance right

MSA Geoservices is one of a few companies in its sector to be fully compliant with South African employment equity legislation. As a multicultural organisation, we fully support initiatives to redress the inequities resulting from historical discrimination etc., and we are particularly well-placed to operate constructively in developing countries.
